Chakra Batik

Gorgeous inspirational wall hanging on silky feeling rayon, with bright Chakra symbols on a rich black background. The symbols are hand painted on the fabric in hot wax before the vivid colours are added and the dyes fixed, Indonesia has a long history of this traditional batik craft. After the wax is removed the hanging is hemmed on along all edges including a space at the top to thread dowel.

Because this item is handmade slight variation is to be expected. We recommend hand washing in cold water to maintain the vivid colours.
